We changed the oil and filter and checked and lubed the chassis. We also replaced both front brake calipers, front brake pads, 4 brake hoses, 2 tie rod ends, idler arm, trailing arm bushings, leaf spring rubbers, power steering pump, 2 power steering hoses, spark plugs, spark plug wires, and much more. The last owner replaced the radiator, water pump, and harmonic balancer.
This little red corvette runs and drives really nice.
GM produced 47,000 Corvettes in the 1978 (25th anniversary) model year. Out of the 47,000 produced, only 8,162 had the four speed manual transmission, 2,074 were red, and 12,590 had Gymkhana suspension.
