"From a styling standpoint, GM designers seemed to get it right
with the boldly redesigned, drastically downsized Eldorado. These
cars were shorter and considerably lighter, yet provided more
interior and trunk space, than previous editions. The exterior
styling was crisp and contemporary, yet incorporated styling cues
that tied them to their predecessors." - Hemmings Classic Car
This 1985 Cadillac Eldorado is in very good condition with just
under 22,000 documented miles. Originally from Ft. Lauderdale
Florida this car has had just two owners.
The Light Blue Metallic paint presents very well and appears to be
original. The White vinyl top shows no tears or stains and plays
well off the crisp chrome bumpers and the Rolls Royce grill.
The original interior is just as clean as it was coming out of the
factory in 1985. The clean, excellent conditioned digital dash
plays well off the White leather seats and Blue carpet. The power
windows, power adjustable seats, power locks, power adjustable
mirrors, and other advanced features of the time work correctly
without any known issues.
This Cadillac Eldorado comes to a quick start and smooth idle. The
fuel injected HT-4100 V8 was newly improved in 1985 removing many
of the concerns the previous generation "High Tech" 4100 had. The
original, 4-speed Automatic transmission shifts well and transfers
power to this Front Wheel Drive car. The power disc brakes bring
the car to a quick, smooth stop. And of course, it glides down the
road like all Cadillac's where made to do!
