For Sale: 1973 Ford Bronco in Alpharetta, Georgia

Vehicle Description

REALLY COOL, 1973 FORD BRONCO RANGER EDITION WITH LOTS OF "PATINA"  AND A SUPER STRONG REBUILT 302 V8, AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION, POWER STEERING, POWER FRONT DISC BRAKES READY TO DRVIE AND ENJOY.....SURE TO BE A CROWD PLEASER!!!

The Early Bronco Classics continue to skyrocket in value and popularity and this Light Copper Metallic '73 Ranger Edition really exemplifies a well preserved original with slight modifications (such as the fender flares) to give it the cool factor while also being a Bronco you can jump in and drive and enjoy! It's ready to cruise the beach or mountains, or just head off with the family for some cool adventures!  As you will see this is not a fully restored show truck but what is great about it is that what you see is what you are getting. This Bronco wears about 80% of its original paint I believe so it has lots of Patina that is from the years of use and enjoyment that previous owners got out of it. This Bronco started its life in Florida and I believe spent all, or most of its life in Florida which is where I purchased it from. Best of all it has a super strong drive train and really hits the road nicely. I will do my best to provide enough pics, a video walk around so you can see and hear it running, and an honest description to help you decide if this awesome Bronco is the one for you. I am also a licensed transport broker and can assist in getting this Bronco to you at a reasonable rate anywhere in the country and I also welcome overseas buyers.  Sit back and Enjoy!!

This '73 Bronco is still wearing about 80% of its original Light Copper Metallic paint which has been given a light clear coat to preserve the patina and help it shine just a bit.  Body panels are rock solid with no rust issues.  The tailgate was replaced at some point and the rockers were also replaced.  At some point the fenders were cut and fender flares were added but the original style stripes were retained which were part of the Ranger package. From 20 feet away the paint and body look awesome and as you get close you can see the years of bumps and bruises which are really part of the character of this particular Bronco. The story I was told by the gentleman I bought it from was that he got it from the 2nd owner and that man was teaching his grandson how to drive at the age of 14 on their farm and the grandson hit a few things along the way leaving a slight indentation along the passenger front fender and a dent in the drivers side of the front grille. Again, these bruises just add to the cool factor and certainly do not take away from how solid and nice this Bronco is. Body lines overall are quite good for an old Bronco and as you will see it has the original spare tire holder with an original spare wheel showing its patina as well. The hard top is in very nice condition as well and of course it comes off to run this Bronco in to an awesome convertible cruiser.  The windshield shows its age but is clear with no cracks. Other glass all looks very good. Some of the weather stripping shows its age as well. Door handles, side mirrors and other trim pieces appear to have been replaced at some point.  I guess what I am trying to point out is that this is just a super cool, really solid Bronco that doe snot wear a new coat of paint but is still super nice.  If you wanted to take it to the next level it would be an easy one to do as the body is really solid.  Bumpers were replaced and looked great.  I think you will get a good sense of the condition of the body in the photos.

This Light Copper Metallic Bronco has the Ginger houndstooth interior which was also part of the Ranger package. Original seats, both front and rear are in great condition!! Original door panels both front and rear also in great shape. Dash itself appears all original with just the right amount of patina to match the exterior. Everything seems to be working on the dash other than the original Am Radio. The floors throughout the interior were treated with a lining material that was color matched to the Bronco which makes it easy to clean out and prevents future rust issues.  The interior really looks great!!!

While this Bronco has lots of Patina, where it really shines is how it runs and drives!!! Under the hood is a completely rebuilt 302 that is supposed to have under 1000 miles on it since the rebuild.  It has much more power then most stock 302 Bronco motors and it really moves along nicely. Smooth shifting Automatic transmission was also rebuilt at the same time from what we were told.  Easy handling and braking thanks to the Power steering and Power front disc brakes.  Dana 44 Transfer case and Ford 9" rear end. Its a great cruiser that also launches off the line quite nicely. This Bronco is also stock height with newer James Duff shocks so it cruises down the road nicely and is easy to get in and out of. With the flared fenders and Aluminum wheels it still has a very cool stance! The BFG All Terrain TA tires still have lots of life left in them. Great sounding newer dual exhaust that you can hear in the video. The auxiliary fuel tank was removed and a larger main tank was installed.  Front floorpans evidently had some minor pinholes and rockers had a little rust so the gentleman I purchased it from had them replaced professionally and they look great. The undercarriage is now rock solid with no rust issues.

Be sure to watch the video for a walk around tour and to hear it start up and running.

This Copper Metallic '73 Ranger is really a great find and is one that you can jump in and drive and enjoy. It could easily be taken to the next level if desired but is super cool just the way it is!!! Asking price is $49,500 and serious buyers can call me at 770-359-8400 with any questions.
