This 1967 Corvette exhibits all the qualities collectors want to
see: an extremely rare color combination of Tuxedo Black with
Saddle interior, original matching-numbers 427/435 HP tri-power V-8
engine, factory side exhaust, extensive documentation and the
highest honor and accolades at Bloomington Gold and NCRS judging
events.
Rated at 435 HP with a wild solid-lifter camshaft and tri-power
intake mounting triple Holley 2-barrel carburetors, the RPO L71
engine was the top street offering for 1967. Performance of L71
Corvettes was explosive, and while it used an iron block and heads,
handling was not compromised with the Corvette's low center of
gravity and set-back engine placement. Sold new at Dueck Chevrolet
in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, this 1967 Chevrolet
Corvette Coupe is the product of a professional restoration to
original specifications by County Corvette in Westchester,
Pennsylvania. Featuring the very rare color combination of Tuxedo
Black with a Saddle leather interior, the Corvette retains the
original body and chassis, and it features a new lacquer paint
finish in correct Tuxedo Black (of which only 815 were
produced).
Legendary power is delivered by the original matching-numbers
427/435 HP tri-power engine. This factory side exhaust car also
features the original Muncie M21 4-speed manual transmission and
original rear end, plus standard 4-wheel disc brakes, F41 special
suspension, power windows, original tinted window glass, telescopic
steering column, an AM/FM radio and increased protection engine
coolant; it also retains the original seat covers. Awards include
Bloomington Gold Certification in 2017 and National NCRS Top Flight
honors in 2019 with a judging score of 99.4 and zero deductions on
paint. In addition to the original tank sticker and GM of Canada
paperwork confirming original data and options, the sale of this
stellar 1967 Chevrolet Corvette L71 427/435 HP Coupe includes
certification of the cylinder case/engine pad and trim tag by Al
Grenning.
