Vehicle Description
With a big 475hp V8, full custom interior, awesome glossy paint,
and a ton of amenities (including a fridge and A/C,) this restored
1977 Dodge B200 Van is that ideal all-around road trip machine.
The Dodge B-Series was so much at the heart of the custom van
movement, that they were a feature in just about every movie made
about vanning. That's why it made such an awesome base for this
custom. There was said to be as much as $40k spent between 2014 and
2017 for this van's restoration. The first place you'll notice the
investment is in the beautiful blue paint. It has plenty of
metallic to really let this one radiate out on the open road. And
speaking of shine, the big chrome bumpers, 15-inch wheels, and real
side pipes all love to add to this full polished package. Of
course, what's also catching your eye is the full custom graphics
package that's everywhere from the pinstriping on the hood to the
CCR lyrics on the back door. Even with all these custom details,
you should also take note of how this one impresses with its
fundamentals. Everything from the clean grille to the way the doors
close with confidence show there was a mindful eye during the
restoration.
If you're going to be king of the road, you need a proper throne.
That's why the front has two plush captain's chairs with a cup
holder console in-between. This has a ton of classic details, like
the dual-spoke Dodge steering wheel and a headliner with the
vintage stereo controls on display. But the restoration was also
about upgrading this classic van into modern times. That's why you
have an AM/FM/CD stereo and air conditioning blowing cold with
modern R134a refrigerant. The back is built with the comforts of
home. That means tasteful wood, nice carpeting, and the right
amenities. There's even a cabinet that houses an electric fridge
and microwave. And the custom bed gives you quite a large sleeping
space with handy storage underneath.
The front license plate hints at how awesome the power is in this
van. They not only rebuilt Dodge's mighty 440 cubic-inch V8, but it
was also enlarged to 451ci total! It inhales deeply with an
Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, and headers add power while
exhaling through those growling side pipes. The full power package
is said to produce 475 horsepower! It's the true muscle car of
vans, and so it was given a rebuilt version of Mopar's extra-stout
A727 Torqueflite three-speed automatic transmission. This was built
for comfortable driving, and you see that in thoughtful things
everywhere from the double-belted accessories under the hood to new
shocks all around. Plus, with power steering, power brakes, front
discs, and a limited-slip rear end, this knows how to hit the road
with confidence and ease.
Complete with restoration photos and build receipts, this is the
powerful and slick custom van you've been waiting for. So don't let
it slip away. Call now!
