Chosen for SEMA Ignited after party

After four days behind closed doors in the Las Vegas Convention Center, hundreds of cars and trucks from the SEMA Show roll out for the SEMA Cruise and assemble at “SEMA Ignited,” an extravaganza that includes food, music, celebrities, iconic builders and displays. The event gives the public, media, SEMA Show exhibitors, attendees and guests a rare opportunity to collect and share images of hundreds of customized vehicles showcasing the newest and most innovative products from the SEMA Show. This 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle was a standout at the 2015 SEMA Ignited after-party held on Friday, November 6 with a crowd of hundreds in attendance. A nut-and-bolt rotisserie build completed in 2015 by Mike Staveski of RMR Dreamcars and Time Machines in Hudson, Florida, the car was also the star of the Atech stand at SEMA 2015, wowing onlookers with its blend of classic Chevelle styling and 21st century craftsmanship. The heart of this showpiece is GM’s LS2 all-aluminum V-8, pumped up with a Rootes-type Magnuson supercharger. The driveline is Bowtie all the way, a 4L60E 4-speed automatic driving a 12-bolt rear end with 3.73:1 Positraction differential. CPP Stage IV suspension and 4-wheel disc brakes, QA1 adjustable coilovers, power steering and a stainless-steel fuel tank are incorporated below decks. Riding low over Sumitomo tires on custom one-off 20-inch alloy wheels, the Chevelle gleams in black lacquer with ghosted Sport stripes and contrasting red accents, and features a custom grille with Camaro RS-style headlights. Custom red upholstery by TMI, air conditioning, carbon fiber-faced digital gauges and SS controls complete the interior, which is capped off with a power top to complete this SEMA gem.
