1932 Ford Custom
The Chip Buckley's 50's/60's Famous Traditional three-window '32
Coupe was the 2013 Street Rodder Magazine Cover Car "The WOW
Factor" a traditional Hot Rod build! Builder George "Desert Head"
Gorgeous custom built the Deuce Frame. Boxed the American Stamping
rails / frame strong enough to meet NHRA guidelines! The cool rake
is achieved by the 4-inch drop Super Bell I-beam axles. Custom
Currie 9-inch rear end with 3:70 gears with limited slip and 31
spline high performance axles.
The 350ci is a work of art built by Champion Auto and assembled by
Buddy Dughi. Ignition is handled by a Joe Hunt magneto. The cool
Fenton 4-into-2 exhaust headers feed into a custom 2-inch exhaust
system goes a long way in contributing to the coup's period
appearance.
The '32 glass three-window body has a 3-1/2-inch chop shows a
stunning House of Kolor paint was done by Ratical "Rat" Automotive.
The flames gives the finishing touch were designed and sprayed by
Jimmy C. The 50's correct pinstriping was done by David Austin.
The classic interior for a 50's-style street rod is lipstick red
tuck 'n' roll on a bench seat. "Big Mike" Romo at Mike's Auto Tops
& Upholstery installed the Glide Engineering tilt back bench,
inside panels and headliner.
The dash is a vintage style ribbed aluminum dash has been painted
to match the valve covers. Stewart-Warner Wings series gauges:
water temperature, tach, speedometer, and fuel. The '40s Ford
steering wheel and chrome '40 column.

cam, Edelbrock aluminum valve covers, aluminum water pump, Fenton
exhaust headers 4 into 2-inch exhaust, 9-inch rear end with 3:70
gears, 31 spline high performance axles, Pete & Jake ladder bars,
So-Cal Panhard bar, Ford 9-inch rear drums, Buick finned front
drums, Late model Corvette master cylinder, 4-inch Super Bell
I-beam drop axles with '40 Ford spindles, '50 Pontiac tail lights,
full custom lipstick red tuck-n-roll vinyl upholstery, Glide
