Vehicle Description

Extremely rare SS 454 convertible, #24 of an estimated 70 made. Listed in the registry. Only 170 miles on concourse restoration. It was also invited by the MCACN event to be in a Showcase Display which is for "superior examples of limited production vehicles".

EXTERIOR: I absolutely love the Sequoia Green with the white, it really makes a killer combination. These are the factory colors it was born with. The panels are laser beam straight from every angle. No bubbles or damage. It has original cowl induction hood with functional flapper door. The metal flake is all laid out evenly, the clear coat is polished like glass. The SS stripes are painted on proper dimensions. Jambs are painted slick. All of the trim, bumpers, lenses, grill, stainless moldings are new or restored. The GM seatbelts are pristine.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Restored to factory condition with hard to find one year only 1972 parts. It is spotless, the Chevy orange is still fresh on the 454. All the components look like new. Numbers match carb, reproduction plug wires, Delco battery, GM hoses and clamps. It has smog system hooked up. The squirter system is all hooked up. Everything is in the proper finishes- pulleys, brackets, hinges etc. The cowl induction system is complete, it also features power steering and brakes.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Perfectly clean sheet metal that was professionally splatter painted and clear coated. The bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb are just as slick as the outside of the car. Restored jack and matching spare which is mounted on a reproduction tire. The mat, weatherstrip, well liner and decals have been replaced. The wiring is new. It is detailed down to the light housings and hardware.

UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame and the underside of this car is restored like factory new. Detailed right down to the proper assembly line stickers. The entire chassis was disassembled rebuilt and detailed. It has the F-41 suspension which includes swaybars and boxed rear control arms.
