1966 Chevrolet Nova. This is the cleanest, straightest, most rust
free and beautifully painted 66/67 Nova that I've seen since the
mid 70s. Probably because the car has been a garaged weekend
warrior/drag car for decades. The original interior and exterior
steel is there and uncut. Except for the hood cut for the ProStock
scoop, the front wheel wells for headers and the floor cuts to make
it easier to install/dial in the mono leaf/4 link rear suspension
and frame/subframe additions. With a best of 9.77 and 150+ mph this
car is solid and fun. Not scary, but also, 0 to 150 in less than 10
seconds is not for the weak at heart. I planned on putting this car
back on the street as a pro street car. It wouldn't take much work
to do so. I installed and got the lights working. Switch out the
race mufflers, radiator and slicks and you're good to cruise. The
rear is a 4.56 posi, not a spool. However, my plans have changed.
This car is built for speed and safety. Safety loops for the drive
shaft and suspension links. Internal/external kill switches in case
you go rubber up. Reverse lock out, manual valve body power glide
is new as is the 5K stall converter. 477 cubic inches. All motor.
No enhancers ever. Crank trigger. 4 stage throttle stop for bracket
racing. Will run currently on premium. Intake and exhaust ports
matched Brodix Big Brodie heads with girdles, of course. Dart
intake. Holley 1550 Chevy Dominator carb. Race or street. This Nova
is no poser and once fired up, obviously means business. Please
