Vehicle Description
This 1973 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 has everything from a cool color
combo to a comfy interior with cold-blowing A/C. But what you'll
really love is when a real-deal Z-car is also upgraded with an
overdrive transmission and a fresh fuel-injected stroker motor.
A Z/28 needs the right look. That means a deep chin spoiler,
full-width rear spoiler, five-spoke sport wheels, and of course
bold racing stripes. And don't forget, this was the last year of
the thin chrome bumpers that hugged the form. So this one covers
the basics all in the first glance. But there's a lot more to this
coupe's attraction. The cowl tag says this car is wearing its
correct code-48 Midnight Green. It's the kind of color that
represents the 1970s quite well while also being stylish in modern
times. And the finish has the right look of a good gloss from an
update later in life, but it's not too fancy today to make you
afraid to go for a drive every time the mood strikes you. And as
you dig deeper into this Camaro, you'll see it really does love to
hit the road.
The green interior continues the factory-correct style, and the
color really drives home the '70s vibe. But you can also see this
one has been subtly upgraded to make sure it's a great modern
driver. For example, the green button-top upholstery on the front
seats looks absolutely correct, but those individual buckets are
clearly an upgrade that gives you modern bolstering and all-day
comfort. There's also newer pieces like the carpeting and armrest
center console to really make this feel nice. There's even plenty
of comfort with Vintage Air A/C, power windows, and a retro-style
AM/FM digital tuner all added within the last few years. Plus, the
wood-rimmed steering wheel, factory gauges w/tach, and B&M
shifter are all part of a very driver-oriented package.
The engine bay has the fresh look of investment. There was a
BluePrint 383 cubic-inch stroker V8 installed in 2018 (and likely
only about 2k miles ago.) It's a strong powerhouse featuring
BluePrint aluminum heads, cast valve covers, serpentine belts, and
headers feeding the dual exhaust. And it's topped with a FAST
fuel-injection system for added power and consistency. In fact,
there has been added quality throughout the car within the last few
years, and you'll see that everywhere from the subframe connectors
to the aluminum radiator w/electric fan. And because you have such
a fun and strong motor, the 4L80E four-speed automatic transmission
is the ideal pairing. It gives you better ratios for the improved
powerband, and there's also overdrive comfort to enjoy this FI
machine near or far. Add in power steering, power brakes, and front
discs, and this makes for something that's great for blacktop fun
or even the Power Tour.
Complete with build receipts, this is the real-deal Z-car that has
been given big investments over the last few years to really
deliver an upgraded driver experience. So if you want a legend that
loves to hit the raid as much as you do, don't miss this Z/28. Call
