This completely-original BJ8 was bought new by a gentleman who carefully kept it as-new. It was always covered in his garage, rarely driven and has never spent a night outdoors. It is complete with all of its original owner’s books, tonneau cover and top boot, tool kit and jack in its never-opened bag. The spare wheel has never been out of the trunk and the original Dunlop Road Speed tires are still like new (there is a spare set of wire wheels with Michelins to actually drive the car on, that are included). A file of past history and service records are in the trunk.
Paint, interior, top, engine area and trunk are all a time warp back to 1964. The burl walnut dash & instruments are beautiful and all operational controls work perfectly. The car has been in a caring private collection in recent years and always kept serviced and occasionally driven. The 6,397 miles ARE the car’s actual mileage. No matter how perfectly similar cars may have been restored, they’re only original once!
