Vehicle Description
1989 Camaro Iroc convertible. says 20090 miles and has rolled over.
its 120k which is considerably low for the year. the car runs
drives and shifts well. the interior is good for the age the
drivers seat has a tear in the cloth and the other seats are fine.
the top has some wear and a few small tears but is still fair for
use. its original still in i usually keep the top down all season
and put it up when stored winters. the brakes are all new tires are
excellent shape steering suspension is all in perfect working
order. The car has a flowmaster cat back exhaust and a new
distributer and just tuned up. the car is all numbers matching. the
transmission was rebuilt over the years I can tell. has a new
starter, the paint is less than 2 years old and looks great decals
are all new as well. the door window wipe seals are new on the
trim, the body is all original except the right side fender was
changed with a gm replacement one but the rest of panels still have
vin on all body panels. in 1987 gm put vins on every body panel on
f body cars if there is no vin sticker its not original so ya know.
i am a f body expert and have has every year engine n trans combo
over the years from 1984 till 2002. I know the smallest details of
every single year. 1988 to 1989 are the years of choice for many
reasons. they have the serpentine belt instead of 3 of em, the
interior materials are way better quality then prior to 1988. every
engine is fuel injection the carb was done in 1987. also the Iroc
decal went from front to rear of the door and the Iroc wheels got a
facelift. the car shows excellent and has not been modified raced
or blown up its still as original as you would expect from a low
mileage car that has not had mad ovners wrecked 5x modified which
is a huge deal in the Irocs value. as we see the real Iroc vin 3
meaning factory convertible are few n far between. the tuned port
injection is the motor of choice which this car has. all windows n
locks work the mirrors ya manually.
