Fully Restored to Show-Stopping Levels in Early 2000's
The current owner has enjoyed this 1967 Volkswagen 21 Window
Microbus since 2003 and they inform us that it originally sold in
Big Sur, California. It was fully restored back in the early 2000's
with custom paint and interior, a fully updated suspension, a
rebuilt drivetrain with mild performance enhancements and refreshed
chrome and trim all the way around. Unfortunately, we have very
little information about this classic before the current owners
took possession but it has been maintained at the highest possible
levels during their ownership. In case this one looks familiar, it
was also featured in Volkswagen of America's 2013 calendar.
Additionally, this 1967 Volkswagen 21 Window Microbus shows great
in person with beautiful body lines and glass, show quality custom
paint, plus excellent chrome work throughout. The engine bay is
equally as clean and this '67 VW Bus is certainly show-quality for
those who enjoy taking in weekend events. The interior is also
super impressive with custom vinyl and graphics throughout; this
was an extremely high end restoration where no expense was spared
in bringing this desirable microbus back to life. From fold-out
front windows to the iconic front dash and all the unique design
quirks that collectors love, this microbus delivers in spades.
In terms of performance, this 1967 Volkswagen 21 Window 3 Door
Microbus starts easily and delivers acceptable acceleration on the
open road. While it certainly won't be confused with a sports car,
this microbus can be comfortably driven around town and performs
well at highway speeds with nice handling and a smooth overall
feel. Braking is also excellent and this example combines a perfect
blend of retro nostalgia and modern drivability.
An Incredible Value at the Current Asking Price
Overall, this 1967 Volkswagen 21 Window Microbus is an
investment-grade example that checks all the boxes for serious
collectors. With undeniable curb appeal and above average
performance, this example needs nothing to be enjoyed on the open
road right away. It's priced to sell quickly as well so come see
this spectacular example today! For more information about this
