The 944 was built from 1982-1991, it was built on the 924 Chassis
with only a coupe and cabriolet body style being offered. It was at
that time the most successful campaign of sports cars that Porsche
had built even though the front engine design was squaked at by so
many. Also, by the time the Turbo had entered the picture the
haters had left the scene. The Turbo was and still is a highly
desired car with its supreme weight front to rear it was one of the
best-balanced car or all time. This particular S2 is the final year
production finished in red over black with black convertible top
that still operates well with a new boot cover. The interior is
original that is in very good condition, the car has had a re-paint
some years ago but done very well. Everything works in the car
except the odometer which just stopped working. The car has an
additional 5,000 miles more than what is indicated. The car has
been well serviced with working A/C, good tires, brakes and
shifting transmission. The car comes with the original owners
manual and space saver spare tire. These cars are a lot of fun to
drive and are only going up in value.
