1953 Jeep M38 Soft Top

Built under the name of Willys and Willys Motors / Kaiser Jeep, the M38 Jeep was a 1/4 ton, 4x4 military light utility vehicle. Seeing extensive service in the Korean War and the Vietnam war, these vehicles "earned their stripes" for utility and durability. Often times referred to the 'round-fendered' Jeep, the M38 formed the basis for the Jeep CJ-5 produced from 1954 to 1983.
Though titled as a military Jeep, the car presented at auction carries the look of a civilian model. Coming out of an estate, this Jeep could be considered a "storage shed" find having been restored to civilian attire then put away for a few years.

This ran and drove very well prior to it's slumber. A good cleaning and a soft re-start is all that is needed to get this fun little Jeep back on the road providing endless miles of fun!
