Vehicle Description
This 2001 Ford F-150 Harley-Davidson represents an awesome V8 truck
that was specially built to be a loaded and sinister-style vintage
machine. So if your pickup doesn't offer versatility, comfort, and
power in a collectible package like this, then maybe it's time you
consider stepping up.
This is the first year for the SuperCrew version of the
Harley-Davidson pickup. That makes it a popular style, and yet,
2001 had the lowest production numbers for its generation. So this
has distinction. Of course what also makes it distinct is the mean
kind of attitude that was perfect for H-D to officially unite with
Ford on this pickup. These came in black, because the best mean
machines always do. It's the factory finish on what's believed to
be a one-owner truck. And while the odometer reflects the truck's
actual mileage, its completeness reminds you of the level of care
this one has received. There are cool details, like the
color-matched rear bumper and SVT-style front one. The billet
grille, Harley-Davidson badging, polished step rails, special
20-inch wheels on a lowered stance all add to the flair. Plus,
there are a few upgrades, like the full-length silver pinstriping
kit and the cool beast side graphics. They just enhance the
attitude without taking away from the upgrades that came direct
from Ford. And while this one is a pretty pickup, beneath the hard
tonneau cover is a useful truck bed, and the full trailer hitch
with wiring plug makes it easy to tow your hog on long tips.
The four full doors of the SuperCrew are an awesome configuration,
and the H-D truck maximized how special this is. For example, the
rear has a ton of legroom, and so it's already a comfortable space
even before the special edition added individual bucket seats and a
center console. So the back seat of this one is more comfy than the
front seat of many other pickups! In fact, these high-back buckets
both front and rear are finished in supple leather and have cool
Harley-Davidson logo badging. This is loaded with the best
features, like power windows, power locks, keyless entry/alarm, an
AM/FM/cassette stereo w/CD changer, dual airbags, ABS, and
cold-blowing air conditioning. Your seat power adjusts to the ideal
position, and the steering wheel is on a tilt column to give you a
clear view of the special gauges.
Under the hood is the 5.4-liter V8. These have a great reputation
for hardy power and plenty of it. That means you have a terrific
fuel-injected powerhouse that provides plenty of power to tow the
bikes or just get ahead of traffic. In fact, this is great for
all-around driving with power steering, four-wheel power disc
brakes, cruise control, and a four-speed automatic transmission
w/highway-friendly overdrive.
This is a terrific truck that mixes style, comfort, and power. It
makes for a desirable collectible that can both turn heads and
still be everyday practical. Call now!
