For Sale: 1991 Austin Mini in Cookeville, Tennessee
Classic 1275 Mini Cooper. This is a 1991 Japanese imported Mini
Cooper. One of the nice features of the Japanese home Market Minis
is factory equipped air conditioning.
The A/C is cold.
It was picked up by an American working in Japan. He personally
chose this car and had it imported. It has been in the US for
several years and has a clean Florida title.
This is a good solid car with an exceptionally nice interior. It
runs and drives very well. It has 31,000 original miles.
(49,800km)
It is powered by its original carbureted 1275 CC Austin 4 cylinder.
This is backed up by its original 4 speed manual transmission. it
is quite capable of keeping up with modern traffic.
The interior is its original black and red cloth. The seats are
like new, the dash is like new, the carpets are like new and the
headliner is excellent as well.
The silver paint is in excellent condition with only a few small
stone chips and a scratch by the left headlight. Body is excellent
with only a few bubbles under the paint along the lower edges of
the doors. When seen from the underside or inside, the doors look
excellent, so I'm not sure what caused the few bubbles. The floors
are perfectly solid original including the boot floor. The chrome
is excellent.
Enjoy the looks and performance that made the classic Mini Cooper
famous all while enjoying modern power disc brakes and air
conditioning.
