Welcome to THE VETTE NET - Nationwide and International Corvette
Brokerage Network, your modern destination for buying and selling,
since 1998!The second generation of Corvettes (63-67), also dubbed
the Mid-years was in full swing, but soon, it became evident that
the 327 CI engine did not offer enough displacement to achieve more
power... Say no more, said GM, we got you covered.? The 1965 model
offered the first Big Block engine, the L78, 396 CI engine was
offered rated at 425 HP.Our featured car appears to have been born
with this engine according to the tell-tale signs, but now it
features even more displacement being endowed with a 502 CI engine,
a base HO with GM ZZ aluminum heads.? Has MSD transistorized
ignition, new fan, polished intake...? Also it has manually
operated fuel pump and push-button start, likely putting out close
to 500HP, but it was not dyno-ed.? It breathes out via factory
look-alike side exhaust. Transmission is a stock 4-speed manual.
The engine compartment is highly detailed.??Paint is exquisite and
features a deep shine, plenty of clear coating and is virtually
flawless.? Car was born \"Glen Green\", however the actual paint
color is a bit darker than the factory one. Lines on the car are
beautifully aligned and indicate an unmolested and likely low miler
car.? Chrome looks like new, headlights work as they should.? Has
nice knock-off wheels running on Cooper Cobra tires.?
?Undercarriage is extremely clean, correct and presenting very
well.? According to the seller, car lived in CA for a long time,
thus the \"time capsule\" look.? Interior is all fresh and correct
for the year.? All gauges and instruments are functional, except
clock (of course!).??Car is a joy to drive!? It has no power
options and, once it warms up, it is a beast!??We recommend this
Vette as a representative example of the era, very hard to
duplicate for the money.? The purists may cringe a little bit at
the color change, the NOM 502, but hey, check out how \"pretty\"
she is!For information on this car, please contact anytime Ken at
