Vehicle Description
Beautifully finished, nicely upgraded, and awesomely powerful -
this 1968 Chevrolet Camaro has that mix of aggression, shine, and
overall quality we love in a restored muscle machine.
The whole build of this Camaro is a true professional setup. So
while the black paint is as dark as midnight, it also has a great
modern shine thanks to a solid investment in a professional hand
applying it. The shine also lets the light roll evenly over the
crisp body and letting people know this is a thoroughly restored
coupe. Of course, it doesn't hurt that this has been given all the
other right upgrades that we love on aggressive first-generation
Camaros. This includes a cowl induction hood, D80 spoiler, front
air dam, and SS badging. The newer headlights give better
illumination and look awesome within the blacked-out SS grille. And
those Billet Specialties wheels shine just as brightly as the
mirror-like bumpers, but they also add extra intimidation with the
17/18 inch front rear stagger.
The doors open and close with the kind of confidence that reminds
you this is a detailed and quality build. The look of the bucket
seats sets the tone right for the whole interior. The modern Procar
leather seats that have the kind body hugging bolstering for the
best in performance and comfort. It's finished in supple leather
that coordinates with the door panels, dash, center console, and so
much more for a darkness that really reinforces how they invested
nicely to make sure this coupe feels fresh and thoughtful. There
are even nice features like a retro-style AM/FM stereo w/Bluetooth
and an upgraded speaker system with two 12-inch subwoofers in the
trunk. But when you sit behind the upgraded sports steering wheel,
you'll know this coupe was built for speed. The large AutoGage tach
w/shift light is on the steering column, Equus auxiliary gauges are
on the center console, and the B&M shifter gives you a firm
place to hold on. They're all there to make sure you know this
Camaro is serious even before you twist the key and hear it
roar.
The engine bay might just win you awards all on its own. The slick
ultra-smooth firewall and inner fenders complement all the polished
components of the motor. And because they spent a small fortune on
giving this a fresh shine, we dare you to find another piece that
could be mirror-like. They even painted the block black to match
the car! But more than just look awesome, this is a V8 built for
power. The 406 cubic-inch motor has go-fast goodies like a Quick
Fuel four barrel carburetor, aluminum intake, and Doug's long tube
headers that add even more power while also contributing to the
rumble of the dual exhaust. Plus, you'll spot the best on
supporting components, like a full MSD ignition system, Edelbrock
electric fuel pump, upgraded pulleys, an Optima red top battery,
and a large aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. The
four-speed automatic transmission gives you better ratios and
overdrive comfort. There are other worthwhile features like power
steering, rear traction bars, and grippy ZR-rated tires. Plus, the
brakes are now hydroboost four-wheel disc brakes with drilled and
slotted rotors.
Complete with build receipts and service manuals, this is a slick,
powerful, and a great all-around muscle machine with all the pieces
you love. So don't miss this complete upgraded classic. Call
