For Sale: 1934 Oldsmobile 2-Dr Sedan in Anthem, Arizona

Vehicle Description

Beautiful and Rarest

1934 Museum quality Oldsmobile 2-Door Coupe

The 451st one of this rare 2-door model built in 1934!  Original Oldsmobile VIN plate #451.  One of approximately 2,400 known 2-door F-34 Sedans ever made.

Likely the ONE of the few if any, of this specific model running and registered in the entire USA and World.

Gorgeous shapely body!

Restored decades ago and reportedly preserved in a museum for a while.

Newer pretty period and fresh interior.

Original dash & gauges and period correctness.

Rare original excellent running F-6  213 cu. in. engine, 3-speed transmission &, original drive train.  New period-rebuilt transmission clutch.  Original Olds' rare shifting knob.

Western car.

History - Oldsmobile was the experimental prototype division of General Motors.  Oldsmobile put on 1936 style 'Knee Action' suspension and 1936 bullet style Headlights factory-stock upon these comfortable-riding Oldsmobiles.

Top Speed - Drove up steep Arizona mountains, up from Phoenix.  Top speed on flat freeway is 71 mph.  (78 mph downhill) on the original engine & drive-train.

Engine runs excellent.  Low wear.  Actual mileage unknown.

Original (super loud) trumpet horns.

Original rims & caps.  Correct period-style old Firestone tires.

Have all pages of a super-worn yet original 1934 Oldsmobile sales Brochure, and the 1934 Oldsmobile repair manual!

Only known modifications are a previous conversion to 12 volt system with 12-volt starter, and 12 volt electric fuel pump.  Have the original Oldsmobile (rebuilt) stock fuel pump, and an original 6 volt starter in box.

Fisher Body still built the frame of these car bodies with hardwood for General Motors in 1934.

Soft rubber-type top in soft, pliable and excellent condition.

Chrome on both bumpers is in excellent condition.

(Chrome protector ring on back outside rear tire is not original).

Hidden high-end Viper car alarm connected directly to the trumpet horns for road trips.  Modern (and removable) stereo neatly and hiddenly placed inside glove compartment.

Due to its original running and driving rareness, prefer to sell to someone who wishes to maintain it original for History Preservation.
