Vehicle Description
1955 FORD F100 CUSTOM STREETROD
We just acquired this absolutely gorgeous, professionally built,
custom street rod truck from a local couple who very reluctantly
and for personal reasons, decided to sell this beautiful truck. As
the story goes, they wanted the truck to be a show winner but
mostly it had to be reliable & dependable because they planned on
driving it to all the local and not so local shows. They were
referred to a local builder who has a great reputation for building
some of the nicest Street rods and customs around. He's not fast or
cheap but if you want the build the best you better have patience
and a lot of money. This truck it honestly the best of the best
!!
I really don't know how or where to begin to describe this
spectacular build but here goes. It was frame off restored and
meticulously fitted and finished to perfection, then beautifully
painted "VIPER RED" in base/clear that was cut and buffed to a deep
luster and brilliant show car shine. A beautiful oak bed was
installed as well as new chrome, trim, weather stripping and tinted
glass too. The interior was completely custom made in black leather
and looks incredible including the seats, door panels, headliner
and carpets. VERY, VERY NICE !!
Powered by a fresh rebuilt 460 c.i. big block Ford engine that runs
smooth and strong and a C-6 automatic transmission which shifts
crisp and firm. All of that is backed up by a 9" Ford rear with
3:50 gears and Tru-lock posi-traction. The added features and
options to this build are all top of the line quality parts that
include Heidts rack-n-pinion steering with tubular control arms and
adjustable coil-over shocks at all for corners, Heidts 4 bar rear
suspension and pan-hard bar, CPP 4 wheel power disc brakes, Lokar
shifter, Omega instrument cluster, March serpentine pulley system,
Flaming River billet tilt steering column, 18" front & 20" rear
American Racing wheels, EZ wiring, Bose stereo and I am only
scratching the surface of what went into this build. The list goes
on & on !!
Just one look at this beautiful truck and you can see that it was
professionally done and that no money was spared, no stone went
unturned and nothing was missed or overlooked. We were told that it
took 8 years to complete and that well over $100,000.00 was spent
building this awesome truck !! It is truly a work of art. DON'T
