Vehicle Description
Crown Concepts is happy to welcome this track ready 2006 Lotus
Elise to the inventory. Over the past 30 years there has been a
battle in the car world. That battle is on the ever increasing
weight of sports cars. While the performance car segment has become
more reliable, comfortable, and safer over the decades they have
also gotten heavy by sports car standards. When Lotus offered the
Elise to the U.S market in 2005 it was the lightest sports car ever
sold in the U.S at 1,975 pounds.
The Lotus Elise comes with a Yamaha-built, Toyota-badged 1.8 liter
four cylinder engine. This engine is equipped with the factory
supercharger and makes 195 horsepower to the wheels and a dyno
sheet is provided for accurate numbers. The new Fidnza clutch is
smooth and easier to use than most aftermarket clutches. The
MagnaFlow exhaust sounds great with no drone and will provide you
with a clean and deep tone as you row through the gears. If you get
a little carried away the ULTRAdisc Brake Rotors will be able to
slow you down in no time.
Inside the car is factory and makes you feel like you are driving a
race car on the road. The seats are rigid and hold you in when you
are going around those tight corners. Looking at the floors you
will find metal plates and very little carpet. When you are driving
it is a lot more quiet inside than you would think. With metal
pedals you really feel as if you are on the track every mile you go
down the road. If you would like you can roll up the T-top and
enjoy your drive with an open top.
Overall this supercharged Lotus Elise has all of the right parts to
get you to the track or to any local destination. Don't miss your
chance to own the lightest sports car ever to be sold in the U.S.
