1955 Chrysler C300 Convertible Hemi, I Purchased this car with the understanding that in 1955 Chrysler did not make a Convertible 300, I Am not an expert in these cars so I have taken over 100 photos, the person who I purchased the car from said there were 4 cars built, I have no documentation of these cars and it was not important to me I liked the car and the lines the car has. If documented it is in deed a rare car.
The black exterior of the car is very nice, paint is very deep and shiny as seen in the photos these photos were just taken April of 2021, a small blister to the paint on the lower rear rocker as seen in the photo, this car is not a rot bucket there are under carriage photos as well, I found minimal rust in the under side. It is complete with brightwork and trim accessories, bumpers have good chrome and there is a small dent to the rear bumper, some of the side trim has a few dings, the tan power top is nice as is the rear window, the top operates via power, windows all align nice, as well as the doors, The wire wheels are very presentable but do show a little age.
Glass is in good condition.
Interior is tan vinyl and in good condition, power front seat is working as well as all the gauges again many photos, Trunk is nice but only has a tire there is no wheel for the spare, there is a Jack, No rust to the trunk. Power steering and brakes, automatic transmission shifts nice.
The 331 Cu In hemi motor starts first try, the motor is smooth and there are no major leaks, any smoking or strange noises, the motor runs cool. A very fun car to drive Dont drive it w top down unless you want to talk to every person that will compliment the car and tell you about there fathers or grandfathers they wish they still had.
