GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this exciting, 1971 Chevrolet
Camaro custom build. This Camaro is powered by a professionally
prepared 383 stroker V8 that has been balanced and blue printed,
fed by a Holly 750 CFM carb, aluminum intake and high flow air
filter element. Power is transferred through a street-strip 700 R4
4 speed automatic transmission fortified with a 2800 RPM stall and
4:11 posi-traction rear end. Other mechanical features include:
Dart heads, polished billet master cylinder with polished booster,
polished pullies and brackets, braided hoses, Pro-Comp electronic
ignition, aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, TCI Shifter
system, custom headers, etc.
The car is finished in Rally Green metallic exterior paint over
custom green/black interior and rides on chrome rally wheels with
spinner center caps. The Interior features custom Recaro style
sport seats with 3 point harnesses, chrome tilt steering column,
polished Grant GT steering wheel, Sun-pro tach with auxiliary
gauges, factory speedo, custom stereo, etc. The exterior rally
green metallic paint and white stripes show excellent and the
exterior features Z28 badging. Other highlights feature rear
traction bars, upgraded suspension components giving it a slight
rake and the perfect stance, and dual Flowmaster exhaust.
Mechanically, this car drives amazing and provides excellent power,
performance and stability.
From records on hand, the restoration and performance build on this
Camaro took place in 2012. Since, the car has remained in the
caring hands of the same owner where it was thoroughly enjoyed,
loved and shown at local events.
Original documentation on hand is the original vehicle invoice,
original protect-o-plate and original dealer vehicle
inspection.
2nd Generation Camaro's remain highly sought after in today's
collector car market. The car here, although a deviation from
original spec, is a thoughtful, tasteful high-quality build that
checks all the boxes for performance enthusiasts.
