The 1 Series is a line of subcompact executive cars manufactured by BMW since 2004. It is the successor to the BMW 3 Series Compact and is currently in its third generation. The first generation was produced in hatchback, coupe and convertible body styles. The E28 is a rear-wheel drive vehicle powered by a 3.0 liter inline 6 cylinder engine that generates 230 horsepower and 200 foot-pounds of torque. BMW boasts that with the 6-speed Steptronic transmission the 128i can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 7.0 seconds and yet still maintain 28 mpg on the highway. In addition to the optional Steptronic transmission this particular example is also equipped with the Premium Package, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel and high gloss black trim. It is Jet Black car with a Savanna Beige Leather interior. The exterior was just painted in an awesome Delta Color Shift peelable paint that shifts between blue and purple. The best part of the paint is if you get tired of it you can restore the car back to its previous color with no signs of it ever having had been changed. It has also has been nicely upgraded with window tint, a remote starter, gloss black powder coated rims and blue brake calipers that perfectly compliment the BMW emblems. The Goodyear Eagle tires, brakes and battery all have less than 5,000 miles on them and the car has been recently serviced. Not only that but is has just 43,324 original miles!
