For Sale: 1952 GMC 3100 in Fullerton, California

Vehicle Description

This 1952 GMC 100 1/2-ton pickup was the recipient of a custom build in San Francisco approximately one year ago, and it comes with a long list of features and amenities. Power is delivered to the 12-bolt rear end by a 383ci V8 mated to an automatic transmission. Modifications include a lowered stance, heat and air conditioning, a custom sound system, side-exit exhaust, Foose wheels, and an electric lift for access to the fuel filler. This GMC is offered with build documentation and a clear California title in the seller's name.

The original chassis was retained and boxed for rigidity prior to the professional application of the gloss red finish, and a chrome bumper and accents were then fitted. An electric lift has been installed beneath one of the bed planks to provide access to the "hidden" fuel filler cap.

Custom Foose wheels are wrapped in low profile tires, and braking is enhanced by way of power discs at all four corners.

The interior is trimmed in red with brown leather covering the bench seat and kick and upper door panels. Vintage air conditioning is fitted along with power windows, heat, and a custom sound system housed inside the seat frame.

Custom white-faced gauges provide readings for speed, rpm's, mileage, oil pressure, fuel level, temperature, and voltage. The mechanical odometer shows 957 miles, all of which have been added since the rebuild. True chassis mileage is unknown.

Power is provided by a Blueprint Engines 383ci Chevrolet small block V8 mated to an automatic transmission. Top-end modifications include a dual-quad intake, finned valve covers, chrome accessories, and coated headers, leading to a side exiting, dual exhaust system.

The original frame was painted to match the body, and modifications consist of an updated Mustang II front suspension, a 4-link rear, and adjustable coil-overs at each corner, providing a customizable ride height. Additional photos of the undercarriage are available in the gallery.

Two folders of receipts and invoices.
