1991 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce For Sale - A Meticulously Maintained
Example LMC is very proud to offer for sale this 1991 Alfa Romeo
Spider Veloce A modern classic by Pininfarina, the
simple-yet-elegant Spider bodywork premiered on the 1966 Alfa Romeo
Duetto would prove enduringly popular, lasting on into the 1990s.
Alfa Romeo offered American enthusiasts the quintessential Italian
roadster: The Spider represented upmarket beauty, mechanical
sophistication, relaxed sportiness, and timeless grace. While it's
top-down, two-seat packaging the Alfa's Spider was always
surprisingly practical and reliable, and it aged incredibly well.
Indeed, the final generation, sold here in the 1991 through 1994
model years, brought warm 1960s charm into a decade where digital
efficiency had largely become the norm. Powering the Spider was a
2.0-liter DOHC four-cylinder with 10.1-compression, variable valve
timing, and Bosch Motronic electronic fuel injection/ignition that
helped it make 120 hp and 117-lb.ft. of torque. A five-speed manual
was standard, while a three-speed ZF automatic with a unique
console became a new option, solely for the American market.
Another comfort feature making its debut in the Series 4 Spider was
standard power steering, a good match for the power-assisted
four-wheel disc brakes. This Alfa Spider Veloce offered for sale is
finished in the rare and desirable color combination of Argento
Silver Metallic over tan leather with a black top. With only 23,480
miles showing on the odometer, it has only been driven in the
summer, enjoyed garaged comfort for all the winter months, and has
been meticulously maintained throughout the rest of the year. These
Alfa Spiders are a very underappreciated car and are poised to
become future classics! Additional Details: 1991 ALFA ROMEO SPIDER
