introduced in 1966, changed little over succeeding years, a
testament to its excellent design and popularity. Tough, practical,
and simple, the Bronco served a particular purpose and did so
exceedingly well. The Bronco's reputation took off quickly and soon
became one of Jeep's biggest competitors. This first-generation
small four-wheel-drive vehicle developed a loyal following,
allowing it to remain in production up until the 1977 model year.
This beautiful Bronco was built on September 28th, 1973 and sold
new at Matthews Motors Inc. in Asheville, North Carolina. Ordered
in the beautiful "Y" code Orange Paint complemented by the factory
Ginger Ranger bucket seats and rear seat makes this one unique
color combination. Under the hood is the 302-2V V8 engine backed by
an automatic transmission sending power to the 3.50 standard rear
axle. Other options include the factory Ranger Package, Power
Steering, G78 x15B White Sidewall Tires, Left-Hand Remote-Control
Mirror, Body Side Moldings, Manual Am Radio, Extra Cooling Radiator
and 1100lb Front Springs. With classic styling, off-road
versatility, and a rugged reputation, these early Broncos are
