This is a legit 2 owner truck. In 2010 it was restored and upgraded
to make it a modern driver while retaining it's vintage look.
Updates include a Fatman chassis, GM 350 crate motor, overdrive
automatic, air conditioning, power steering, power 4 wheel disc
brakes and more.
EXTERIOR: Restored to show quality standards. No rust or damage,
the body is straight everywhere. The doors fit square and flush.
The paint is gorgeous- the colors and glass finish are excellent.
The original grill and bumpers were rechromed. The original steel
running boards were Line-X coated for durability. All new soft
tinted glass, the windshield still cranks out. New 15 inch steel
rims from Wheel Smith have reproduction trim and Goodyear tires.
Upgraded 2 speed electric wipers. It has Hologen headlights, LED
turn signals and taillights. Your conditioning controls inventor
mounted neatly below the - is a nice billet insert with a new set
of white auto meter gauges tilt column
INTERIOR: The inside if the cab was repainted the original color.
It was lined with Dynaliner where possible and Dynapad on the
floor. All new wiring throughout the truck with upgraded 14 circuit
fuse panel. The original seat was rebuilt and reupholstered.
Upgrades include retractable seat belts, tilt column, LED interior
lights and a Vintage Air system.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: H.O. GM crate 350-330 hp motor offers excellent
reliability and power. It comes fully assembled from Chevy,
complete from oil pan to carburetor. It has block hugger Sanderson
headers. Custom made All Cool radiator and shroud with a big
electric fan. Everything looks like it's properly and neatly
installed. In front of the motor it has a modern alternator,
serpentine belt system, power steering and Vintage Air. The
firewall is painted nice, it has a set of chromed valve covers and
billet plug wire holders.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Excellent metal box, new tailgate. White oak
floor boards with stainless strips. The fuel filler was relocated
to the bed floor. It includes a diamond plate tool box that is
easily removable.
UNDERSIDE: It has a completely updated Fatman Fabrication chassis.
Fatman boxed frame with driveshaft safety loop. Upfront is
independent suspension with stainless tubular control arms, QA1
adjustable coil over gas shocks and power rack & pinion steering.
In back it has a Pro Link 4 link suspension with tubular control
arms, panhard bar and QA1 adjustable coil over gas shocks. All new
brake system with 11 inch discs at all 4 wheels. 2 1/5 inch exhaust
with Flowmaster mufflers goes all the way out the back. The bottom
of the motor is clean, it has high torque starter and chrome
flywheel cover. The trans is a rebuilt 700R-4 overdrive automatic.
New driveshaft and u-joints connect to a new Ford 9 inch rear. It
has 3.70 Trac Loc gears. 18 gallon fuel tank.
I love that it retains it's original vintage appeal while offering
modern reliability and performance. It is a good looking truck with
a cool story!
