HIGHLIGHTS: NASCAR-inspired steel body '36 Ford street rod! Built
right with top-notch racing and street rod parts! Chevrolet ZZ4
crate motor & Tremec 6-speed! So much more!
BODY OVERVIEW: The body on this steel '36 Ford is clean, straight,
and solid-just the way you'd expect a well-built vehicle like this
to be! Sitting on a set of chrome 15" NASCAR-style aero wheels,
this car has a very unique look (even by street rod standards!) and
is sure to turn heads. The front fenders and grille were extended
for a more aggressive & aerodynamic look, and the firewall was
shaved smooth. There's no part of this car that hasn't been
customized and upgraded!
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: Believe it or not, this car was built and
assembled 11 years ago-and it has held up incredibly well! The
paint does have some minor scratches and signs of age, but this was
a car that was built to be driven. It has been driven over 20,000
miles since it was completed! The red paint is a classic choice for
a street rod, and the paint was applied after the car was stripped
to bare metal. It looks great, and adds to the appeal!
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: Much like the exterior of this car,
the custom interior is in great condition showing minimal signs of
use. The most notable signs of use are on the driver's
seat-remember, this car has been driven regularly for over a
decade! The light colored leather seating is a great choice against
the vibrant exterior red. The metal dash face has been modified to
resemble the look of a C2 Corvette, and to give the interior a more
custom street rod look. The door panels and headliner are matching
custom carbon fiber panels that again bring us back to the
"NASCAR-inspired" feel of the car. It even has a stereo and A/C!
Last but not least, the car has had DynaMat installed to decrease
heat and road noise, making for a much more comfortable ride. Other
interior upgrades include:
-Flaming River tilt steering column
-Flaming River steering wheel
-Power windows
-Auto Meter gauges
-Sony stereo w/ dash controls
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: The mechanical side of this '36 Ford Tudor is
where things really start to get interesting. Pop open the hood
(whichever side you prefer!) and you'll be greeted with a GM 350ci
ZZ4 V8 attached to a 6-speed G-Force Tremec transmission. The power
meets the road by way of a Ford 9" rear end. Truly race car style
through and through! The exhaust note is throaty, but not
obnoxious-this car was intended to be taken on long trips, and a
loud, droney exhaust would NOT have been a great choice. Look
closely at the underside photos, and you'll notice a variety of
upgrades-including a racing style chassis and suspension, and even
a hitch receiver! But wait, there's more! Other mechanical upgrades
include:
-Penske shocks
-Jack Laughlin frame
-McLeod flywheel
-Brown & Miller brake lines and hoses
-Ron Francis fuse box w/ Brown & Miller wiring harness
-Hooker Headers
-Power Master Alternator
-Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: How truly well-built it is!
Quality like this is tough to find in a street rod, and the way
this car handles is unreal.
WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: This NASCAR-inspired style
custom isn't going to be for everyone.
DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? The A/C may need to be charged, and the
speedometer works intermittently.
WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? Anybody looking for a very
unique street rod with go-fast goodies!
