This 1955 Ford F-100 is an interesting classic. After all, it has
the iconic pickup look, but there are also terrific upgrades like
the well-done V8 power and modern wheels/tires. It delivers one
package that has both classic style and a little hot rod flair.
The glossy real wood in the truck bed, step plate running boards,
blue-dot taillights, and a bright chrome bumper up front really
cover all your favorite classic pieces. Plus, everything from the
badging to the white roof is pure vintage fun. And as you look at
the main body painted in red, it gives this pickup the right
attitude. It's a glossy finish that gives extra definition to the
curvy hood and fenders. But nothing on this is too fancy to make
this a trailer queen. So it really gives the impress of a truck
that's meant to be enjoyed. That's what those modern 20-inch alloys
signal. And as you look at the full package, you really see that
the theme holds true.
The interior keeps the feeling of a vintage look with
well-integrated upgrades. So there's a classic style everywhere you
look from the rubber flooring to the smooth dash wraps around into
the door. And the large three-spoke steering wheel has that great
old-school feel. But there are also some true improvements. The
bench seat now has comfy cloth inserts. There's an aftermarket
floor shifter to rest your right hand, and the vintage-looking
gauges are really a full Classic Instruments panel w/tach.
The hood has a forward-tilt sporty style that gets people ready for
an upgrade. But this one still tries to fly under the radar a bit
with custom valve covers that look like the old Y-blocks. But when
you dig just a little deeper you realize this is Ford's mighty 289
cubic-inch V8. These love performance upgrades, and so this has a
Holley four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and ceramic coated
headers, and a dual exhaust. It's also supported by the right
pieces, like an MSD distributor, Edelbrock fuel pump, upgraded
pulleys, and a Be Cool aluminum radiator w/electric fan. It's a
strong-running package that's also good for all-around driving.
That's why you have a three-speed automatic transmission, power
brakes, front discs, and a nice set of grippy ZR-rated tires
afforded by the wheel upgrade.
Complete with owner's manual, this is the classic truck with some
extra personality and power. It makes for a terrific package that's
ready to run right now. Call today!!!
