The Black and white “hounds-tooth” cloth interior is clean and fresh-looking.

The 400 cid V-8 starts at the turn of the key and performs as it should: smoothly and with plenty of power.
The automatic transmission shifts properly.
Power front disc brakes, and power steering with tilt, make this 1500 a pleasure to drive.
The pickup bed is covered by a snap-on BlackMax tonneau cover for cargo weather protection and a sprayed-on bed lining that helps keep cargo from sliding during operation.
All of the safety equipment with the exception of the horn work--lights, wipers and turn signals (the right hand turn signal has to be held in place).
The truck is equipped with seat belts for extra safety.
The convenience items include: power steering, tilt steering wheel, power brakes, tonneau, and, of course, air conditioning. The radio will require attention.
