Vehicle Description
This 1953 Studebaker Champion Regal Starliner Restomod coupe is
really the best of everything. After all, you get the rare and
swoopy Studebaker coupe design. But now it comes with modern slick
paint, a loaded leather interior, and proper small block V8
power.
Famed designer Raymond Loewy really understood how to take his time
and let the sheetmetal develop sophisticated lines. The long
flowing hood and short rear deck instantly make this sporty. Plus,
the dual grilles, wraparound back window, and mirror-like
form-fitting bumpers make this truly elegant. While you can tell
there has been a solid investment in keeping this classic style
looking great, you can also see that money was spent updating this
Studebaker for more modern times. The blue metallic paint is a cool
modern color, and much of the trim was expertly deleted so the
clearcoat shine can really dance across the panels when the
sunlight hits this one. And the KMC "Hot Wheels" 16-inch alloys
bring the whole personality together perfectly since this is the
kind of custom coupe you've dreamed about since you were a kid.
The red interior gives this a bold look to really showcase this
full custom setup. Everybody gets beautiful leather seats with
plenty of comfy bolstering, and yours even power adjusts to the
ideal position. There's an Alpine AM/FM/CD stereo, and this has the
beginning provisions for air conditioning (you have the controls
and vents, but it will need components to be completed.) And the
power windows mean you never have to leave the driver's seat when
you want to show off the full pillarless hardtop profile. Plus, the
leather-wrapped sports steering wheel, tilt/telescopic steering
column, full Dolphin gauges, and B&M shifter in the center
console are all there to give you the right tingle of
performance.
The engine bay has a terrific style where the tidy wiring really
lets you see the smooth blue inner walls. The valve covers and air
intake even have red accenting to match the interior. And what
you'll really love is the 350 cubic-inch V8 that's far more potent
motor than what Studebaker ever offered. It inhales deeply with an
Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, and wrapped shorty headers help
add power while it exhales with a terrific tune from the dual
exhaust. There's even an aluminum radiator w/electric fan to help
keep this running cool if you're in traffic. Plus, the power
brakes, front discs, and a three-speed automatic transmission makes
for a confident cruiser.
This is a rare classic that makes a bold statement wherever it
goes. So don't miss this unique coupe. Call now!
