Please visit www.Survivor-Cars.com for additional photos,
information and a video. The Model A is an iconic car that is often
customized and street rodded. This 1929 Ford Model A Roadster is no
exception and has a very cool, custom look. The exterior is painted
in an attention grabbing bright yellow. The brown leather of the
interior wraps over the edges of the cockpit to give a peek at
what's inside. Cragar SS wheels are wrapped in radial tires for a
classic look and a great ride. This is a fiberglass full-fendered
car with a rumble seat. It does come with the hood, but not the
side skirts. A dressed up 350 CID V8 powers this hot rod and is
topped with an Edelbrock Performer intake, Edelbrock AVS2 4-barrel
carburetor, ceramic coated headers and an HEI distributor. The
engine black and transmission case are painted in the same yellow
as the car for a show quality finish. A chrome alternator, chrome
master cylinder cover, chrome fuel pump, finned air cleaner and
valve covers with painted yellow stripes, and billet spark plug
wire looms finish off the engine in style. Braided radiator hoses
and an electric fan have also been installed. This Model A actually
has doors, unlike some we see, making getting in and out much
easier. Open the door and you will be pleased to see a new custom
full-leather interior in two-tone beige and brown. That theme has
been carried into the rumble seat area as well. Custom leather
seating, custom leather door panels, a nicely painted dash with a
blue accent around the Stewart Warner gauge. An AM/FM/Cassette
player has also been installed in the dash and a chrome tilt
steering column helps with the legroom. Under the car you will find
a tubular drop axle with chrome shocks and disc brakes up front.
Dual exhaust with glass packs that exit the rear by the Ford 9"
rear end. That rear end is held firmly in place with an adjustable
ladder bar setup and panhard bar with coil over shocks. If you're
looking for a very cool, show ready street rod that won't break the
bank, give this 1929 Ford a second look! For additional information
