1959 Mercedes-Benz 190S Like everything else there are different
levels of restoration. It's not what you can see that you need to
be concerned with, it's the structure you can't see that you need
to investigate. This car was taken to the ground and went through a
dipping process by US Metal Laundry. All the structural parts that
needed to be replaced were done so. All seams were leaded, no Bondo
was used. All structural parts were painted with enamel paint, and
sprayed with a rust inhibitor to retard any rusting. The finished
product was painted with lacquer. Matching numbers M121 engine 4
speed transmission were rebuilt. Solex carburetors were rebuilt
,brakes redone, etc. Professional restoration complete in 2017. 92K
