5-door Estate Phase I in Cream Yellow (Paint Code 607) finish with
the original Graphite Leather and Grey Amaretta interior. Volvo
designed the limited edition T-5R after competing in the BTCC
(British Touring Car Championship) with a race tuned 850 series
estate. When Volvo announced the news it would be racing an estate
for the 1994 season, many thought it was a joke. Although when it
was race time... Volvo's wagon held its own. Over 716,903 Volvo 850
series were built but few quality T-5R examples are still
existence. Volvo only sold 49 Cream Yellow wagons to the United
States but all of them featured an automatic transmissions. We are
presenting a 2.0L (1984 cc) B5204T transverse mounted Straight-5
that puts traction to the ground through a 5-speed manual
transmission. The turbocharged and intercooled 5 cylinder was
capable of 207 hp and 221 lb/ft with Bosch Motronic engine
management. This wagon has the more rare race sourced engine with a
superb power output at a smaller displacement. We located this rust
free well kept example in Ingrandes, France. Originally sold new in
Roma, Italy on 2/9/95 by MAC Motoristica. Records indicate the
first owner to be the proprietor of a luxury hotel in Ferentino,
Italy. The T-5R did not move far only about 50 kilometers away to
it's second home in Balsorano, Italy taking residence with a local
artist. During this time maintenance including a 60,000 km service
was performed by the Volvo dealer Autoskandia SRL of Frosinone,
Italy.Originally delivered with the Volvo 17? Aluminum Alloy Titan
Wheels in Anthracite finish that are now wrapped in a new set of
205/45R17 Firestone Roadhawk tires. These tires and 5 Spoke Alloys
retain the great looking factory stance and curb appeal. Factory
features include power locks, power windows, power mirrors, cruise
control, traction control, sunroof, memory seats, heated seats,
disc brakes, rear wiper, rear defrost, and side marker lights. The
gauge cluster consists of a speedometer, tachometer, fuel, temp,
and boost. From the drivers cockpit you find the delicate balance
of speed, comfort, and safety. A very original low mileage wagon.
