1963 Chevrolet Red Corvette Convertible
Car History
If you are a Corvette nut, you might recall a book about Corvettes
called, "All Corvettes Are Red." No other American car carries the
mystique of the Corvette, especially a red one.
We have a great red 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible
here at Adventure Classics that has all the right iconic looks and
has an upgraded Small Block Chevy Crate Blueprint Motor with a
transferable warranty too.
Engine & Drivetrain
Under the hood beats a documented 430 horsepower 3250 cubic-inch
Small Block Chevy Crate Blueprint V8 with a transferable warranty
that not only sounds mean but is wicked fast in this little
Corvette.
It has power adders like ceramic coated headers, aluminum intake,
performance carb, performance ignition system and spark plug wires,
flex fan, and most engine and drivetrain parts replaced as well as
suspension and other running gear parts. There are pages of
receipts showing everything done to this Corvette that are way too
much to list here with a cost of over $15,000 on the bills.
You will also see power steering and brakes, chrome open element
air cleaner, black Chevrolet Bowtie valve covers, all in a very
neat, clean, painted and detail engine compartment.
You really get the best of everything the C2 had to offer and more
with the upgrades in this desirable first-year package. Plus, it is
backed by the tried and true four-speed manual transmission with
the reworked suspension and rides on Knock Off wheels with
performance blackwall tires.
Interior
The interior on this Corvette consists of the black twin buckets,
great factory correct Corvette stainless and painted dash with the
Corvette gauges and controls from the large speedo to the tach V,
Hurst floor shifter and white shifter ball in the stainless floor
console, three-spoke steering wheel, vertical radio, black
carpeting and floor mats.
Exterior
This car is a true iconic American red Sting Ray that gives you a
robust ride in its sleek red paint job on top of one of the most
desirable body styles ever. It was the first year for the C2 and it
carries plenty of shining brightwork, two-piece chrome bumpers,
rocker trim, window surrounds, with the hood louvers that became a
hallmark of the early C2s, and even both the black convertible top
and the red body color matching factory lift-off hardtop.
