Vehicle Description
A 2012 Dodge Challenger R/T with the 5.7-liter HEMI is already a
great future classic. But when this low mileage example has been
given a performance rebuild, including a supercharger, then you
realize you're looking at a Hellcat level of performance in a very
affordable package.
Even without the ultra-hot motor currently in it, this is a pure
intimidation machine. The Challenger has a vintage-style cool
package formed around a body that's far beefier than the retro
Mustangs and Camaros out there. The Blackberry Pearl gives this car
a dark heart that also gives it more flair in the sunlight than
just black. It's the factory application, and so it shows plenty of
life lived over nearly a decade being a performance machine. But
you can also see there has been an overall respect for this one in
the way the sheetmetal is straight and complete. Plus, these
Challengers have the best pieces for a modern and aggressive coupe.
The dual scoops in the hood, front air dam, quad exhaust tips, and
full width spoiler are all terrific Mopar pieces. This even has the
classic muscle car look of Hurst-style wheels, but now in a modern
20-inch size.
The slate gray interior continues this car's dark side. It has a
clean look with the door panels, carpeting, dash, and more
retaining a preserved factory style. And the leather upholstery
over the well-bolstered seats remind you why modern classics are
always the most comfortable. Your seat even power adjusts to the
ideal driving position. And the tilt steering wheel (with essential
controls attached) and white-faced gauges get you ready for the
performance car feeling. This is a loaded coupe with all the
features you could want, including power windows, power locks,
heated seats, keyless entry/alarm, cruise control, dual airbags,
side airbags, an AM/FM/CD stereo with aux input, and a cold-blowing
air conditioning. It's all a stock style appearance, but the Snow
Performance controller in the center console lets you know this is
extra special even before you fire up this Dodge.
While the fuel-injected 5.7-liter V8 is already the kind of
powerplant that makes Mopar fans weak in the knees, this special
one goes much further. We have receipts for over $20k detailing a
comprehensive rebuild of the numbers-matching motor. It includes
the Mopar head bolts, all the gaskets, and the full cam, lifters,
and valve springs. They also added a water methanol injection
system. And there was also a Procharger supercharger to really make
this a street-eating machine. Headers feeding large 2.5-inch dual
exhaust pipes help add power while also announcing the big power
package with a terrific growl. Mopar's five-speed automatic
transmission is a stout unit that lets you choose between choosing
your own shifts in sport mode or just easily cruising in overdrive.
Plus, the fully independent suspension, power steering, and
four-wheel power disc brakes w/ABS are great features to have any
time.
The sale comes complete with the owner's manual, build receipts,
and maintenance records. This custom supercharged Mopar is the
total package you'll want to get your hands on right now. Call
