Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1983 Datsun 280ZX turbo.
This S130 Z car is in beautifully-preserved original condition with
only 55,000. It has been well cared for by a collector and never
modified or abused unlike so many Z's from this era. 1983 was the
final production year for the 280ZX and arguably the most refined
of the series.
This example is finished in black over tan leather and suede
interior and is highly optioned with t-tops, power windows, power
mirrors, automatic climate control, hi-fi stereo and of course,
that awesome digital dash. We believe the paint and pin striping to
be original and it shows to an excellent standard. Likewise the
interior is in beautiful original condition with virtually no wear
- we are especially fond of the subtle "280ZX" print in the suede
surfaces.
The digital dash and voice alert system are working properly - a
friendly voice reminds you if you have left a door ajar or are low
on fuel. Power comes from Nissan's venerable L28E inline 6 which is
mated to a five-speed T5 manual transmission - the turbocharged
engine provided a 40hp bump over the normally aspirated cars and
offers very good performance. Original two-tone 15-inch alloy
wheels are wearing continental tires.
Original owners manual, sun shades and t-top bags are included.
This is a rare find in this condition and is likely one of the best
S130 280ZX turbos available today. A Clean CarFax report with no
accidents and consistent mileage accompanies the sale. For more
