This 1981 CJ7 was gifted to Roger Mears for winning the Baja 1000. Roger Mears with Mears racing and "The Mears Gang" was a multiple title winner not only in off-road racing but also on the road with such race teams as Hendrick Motor Sports. After receiving this Jeep as a gift Roger delivered it to the notable Tom Strong to customize. Tom added a 401 ci V8 with Holley 4bbl, B&M ratchet shifter, aluminum wheels, tasteful lift kit, chrome rear bumper, trans temp gauge, fog lamps and much more.
