Impressive, Eye-Catching 1946 Chevy 1/2 Ton Pickup
The next amazing classic up for grabs in our Fairfield showroom is
this gorgeous 1946 Chevrolet 1/2 ton 2 Door Pickup with grey and
black exterior paint plus a touch of red accents, a hardwood bed
and a very nice black vinyl interior. You'll find a 215 cid
straight six-cylinder engine under the hood with a 3-speed manual
transmission, owner added front disc brakes, converted to a 12V
system, new aluminum radiator, new tires and very nice curb appeal.
This classic pickup is in very nice condition as well and it is
ready for the next owner to drive and enjoy.
An Older Restoration of a Highly Original Example
The current owner of this 1946 Chevy1/2 ton Pickup took possession
back in 2019 and he informs us that he was drawn to this particular
example due to the high originality and excellent curb appeal as a
typical daily driver. As you can see from the photographs, this
example does have some imperfections to the paint and the body,
plus the hardwoods in the bed do show typical aging from being in
sunlight. However, this pickup has nice chrome and still turns
heads- it would make a great work truck or someone's restoration
project since everything is here.
Additionally, this 1946 Chevrolet Pickup offers nice performance
that's enhanced by brand new interior seating and gauges. The
acceleration is above average for a typical straight-six example
and you'll also find a very clean, highly original engine
