1971 Corvette Convertible!
Recently purchased by us out of long-term storage and family
ownership we are pleased to have this beautiful Mulsanne Blue
Corvette Convertible in our inventory. If you had to pick a color
for a 71 Vette then certainly one of the all-time favorite choices
is this wonderful shade of blue. Per its original trim tag in the
door this Vette was born blue with a blue interior- Very sharp!
Powered by its numbers matching 350, 270 horse motor and backed by
its automatic transmission this car is perfectly motivated down the
road. Power steering and brakes make this a well-mannered
convertible. When we got this car to our store, we did quite a bit
to get it ready for sale out of its long-term slumber- of course we
flushed the fuel system completely, went through the brakes, did
fluid changes, full tune up, engine and trans mounts, leaf springs,
valve cover gaskets, installed a brand-new set of correct redline
tires, put a new carpet kit in and basically did whatever was
needed to get her road ready and looking good.
Please check out the photos of the underside this is a clean,
straight and solid Vette underneath. We really like to see clean
keyholes and a straight frame under these cars and this one does
not disappoint along with nice virgin glass floors that are just as
GM installed them.
The car presents itself very nicely as a great quality driver with
nice paint, interior, chrome and an all-around great look. We'd
call the top nice and serviceable but really, is it ever going to
be up? We believe the 79K miles that are showing on the odometer
are correct and original. If you're looking for a great driver that
would hold its head at most any car show then you may have well
found your new Vette!
