Vehicle Description
Here is a really stunning looking Rolls-Royce Silver Spur III
finished in all over Magnolia with beautiful matching Magnolia
Connolly leather hides accented by rich tan piping and trims. The
twin fine lines to the waist-rails and hubcap beauty rings are
hand-painted in tan to match the interior. This is what is known as
a 50,000 series SZ so it has many upgrades over the earlier cars.
The Silver Spirit III and Silver Spur III were introduced in 1993,
featuring engine improvements and some cosmetic updates. A new
design of intake manifold and cylinder heads increased power
output. The parameters of the semi-active suspension system were
improved, noticeably impacting ride quality. Dual airbags were
introduced inside, along with independent adjustment of the rear
seats. This Spur III is very well known to us having been fully
maintained whereby everything and anything needed to be done has
been done so without sparing expense. Every service is completely
up to date. The car has travelled a modest 69,000 miles. She lived
most of her life in California so is a very dry and clean example.
The body of the car is very straight and the paint in excellent
condition. It appears to be mostly original and is consistent and
very deep in lustre and shine. There are hardly any notable chips
and marks other than very minor ones here and there but these are
few and only show if one looks hard. Otherwise it is very shiny
without any fading, dents or dings. Rubbers, mouldings, badges and
external fittings are all in excellent condition. The interior of
this car is stunning. The Connolly leather shows beautifully and is
completely original. It remains very soft and supple without any
signs of extraordinary wear. The wood throughout is excellent and
can comfortably be described as excellent showing almost no lacquer
cracks, chips or marks with the exception of one on the face of the
front passenger door. And, of course, the 50,000 series cars have
the beautiful teak in-lay that is truly in tune with the best of
wood-working craftsmanship. Carpets, seats, dash, front top-roll,
rear parcel shelf and fixtures are truly excellent and I best
encourage you to look at all the photos to fully appreciate how
nicely the interior presents. As part of Park-Ward's maintenance
program, all electricals and features & functions have been
inspected so everything is operating as it should; windows, seats,
mirrors, A/C, heater, lights, wipers, etc. Right down to every
light bulb in the dash. This is a true, "take the keys and drive"
example with no additional budget needed to attend to any nuances
or gremlins. Being a well-maintained example. It is tight to drive,
brakes strong and rides as a Rolls-Royce should. When describing a
car for sale, one should be very careful to use terms like
"perfect" and "flawless" because nothing but a brand new car can be
described this way. That said, this Silver Spur II is close to, is
of a very high standard and is an easy 10 out of 10 driver rating.
With the exception of a blue tooth stereo fitted, she is 100%
factory original in specification in every respect.
