has been an unqualified success since it burst onto the scene in
1967, due in large part to its amazing versatility. Whether you
wanted an economical commuter, a comfy cruiser, or a stoplight
stormer, the Camaro offered something for everyone. This beautiful
1969 Camaro definitely falls into the latter category, as it is a
top-shelf, no-nonsense, tire fryer of the first order. Motorvation
for this beast comes in the form of a Procell Bros. balanced and
blueprinted 454 stroker (now 490 ci) that's been fortified with
Brodix aluminum heads (port matched, polished, and flowed), a COMP
Cams hydraulic roller cam, a Holley 950 cfm (!) carburetor, an
Edelbrock RPM Air Gap aluminum intake, Eagle rotating assembly, 2
Hooker Jet Hot coated headers, MSD ignition, and a Be Cool aluminum
radiator. The resulting storm (538 hp/595 lb.-ft.) is sent through
a modified TH400 automatic transmission, then back to a Moser
12-bolt rear end with limited slip and 3.73 gears. Additional
features include power steering, Wilwood power 4-wheel disc brakes,
4-link rear suspension with StrongArm control arms, QA1 coilover
shocks, rebuilt front suspension, AGR steering box, 3 dual exhaust
with H-pipe, Dynamat insulation, SS/RS trim, leather interior (!),
tilt steering column, AutoMeter gauges, and classic Cragar wheels
wrapped in new BFG Radial T/A's (235/60R15 F, 295/50R15 R). This is
a solid, well executed build that is sure to please the
discriminating buyer. G-suit and 'Get Out of Jail Free' card not
