Made in April 1985 at GM?s Flint, Michigan facility (VIN code F), this Suburban left the factory with the following optional equipment ? 70/30 split-folding center and rear bench seats; front and rear color-keyed floor mats; intermittent wipers; below-eye-line sideview mirrors; locking differential; cruise control; four-speed automatic transmission; 40-gallon fuel tank; AM/FM stereo; chrome front bumper; tinted glass; power locks; front air-conditioning; 3.42 axle ratio; engine oil cooler; Comfortilt steering column; heavy-duty radiator and transmission cooler; front locking hubs; and more. The Suburban was sold new at Rocket Oldsmobile GMC in Abilene, Texas and is included with the original window sticker, original books and manual. Dressed in custom order Light Blue Metallic (code 21) over Midnight Blue Metallic (code 29), this truck?s paint and trim are in overall very good condition. The body is straight and solid, the engine bay is extremely tidy, the rear cargo area is in very good order, complete with a full-sized spare tire on the driver?s side, however there is no radio aerial. The chrome bumpers look great and each passenger window has its own rain guard. This truck rolls on new Dick Cepek Extreme Country light truck tires, size 35x12.50R15s at each wheel. Each tire is mounted to an Ultra vented alloy wheel. The wheels are in excellent overall order while the tires are in very good shape with plenty of tread. This Suburban has been treated to a Rough Country six-inch lift. Under the hood is a 350 CID V-8 carbureted engine (VIN code L). Backing this motor is a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission, New Process 208 two-speed transfer case with automatic locking for the front hubs, optional 3.42:1 rear end with the optional rear Positraction. Driver convenience features are lengthy ? air-conditioning, cruise control, power steering, power brakes, power locks, power windows, tilt steering column and tinted glass. Inside is the correct blue cloth interior that looks great and complements the exterior well. There are a pair of optional captain?s chairs in front (code LDD6), a 70/30 split-folding center bench and removable rear bench seat; this rig will seven average-sized adults. The matching carpet looks great while the complementing headliner is in satisfactory order. A two-spoke steering wheel faces the driver, who is greeted by a full array of gauges in a dashboard that still looks good. A column-mounted shifter and an AM/FM stereo complete the interior.
