Vehicle Description
HIGHLIGHTS: Beautiful classic first-generation Riviera! Dual quads
on a numbers-matching 425V8! Factory black on black, 99% original
style cruiser!
BODY OVERVIEW: The body on this Riviera is stunningly straight!
Glossy black paint will show nearly any imperfection, and there are
hardly any to be found on this car. Beautifully restored, the body
on this Riviera was done correctly and all those classy Buick lines
are crisp.
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: The black paint on this car is a few
years old, but boy does it ever shine! According to the body tag,
black is the factory color for this car, it really looks great.
With unbelievable depth and gloss, the black paint is a fantastic
choice for a Riviera of this vintage. It really highlights all
those cool styling cues! Plus, in a sea of white and beige
Rivieras, you're sure to stand out with this black one. (original
color?)
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: Step inside the Riviera, and suddenly
it feels as if it is 1964. Every original piece appears to be in
place, either with good condition original parts or nice
replacement parts. THe interior has been kept black, as original
according to the body tag. Modifications in the interior are kept
to an extreme minimum, with the only notable change being a hidden
Bluetooth receiver integrated into the original radio. All those
classic space age Buick knobs and gauges are still in place, and
you can't help but feel the personal luxury while seated inside
this car.
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: Lift the hood and you'll be greeted by the
correct, numbers-matching 425V8 with a dual four barrel carburetor
setup. The 425 is stamped properly with the car's VIN, and the dual
quads are a fun choice for this personal luxury car. For 1964s, the
dual quad carbs weren't factory, rather installed as a dealer
option, but regardless this car is a blast! The transmission shifts
smoothly, and the 4-wheel drum brakes stop this beast surprisingly
well.
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: These Rivieras have aged
incredibly well. A fusion of early '60s styling and what became
late '60s muscle car attributes, you can't help but love these
cars!
WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: If you don't like black, this
car probably isn't for you.
DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? This car is ready to go!
WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? If you're looking for a unique,
classic personal luxury car, you've found it!
