Vehicle Description
This 1984 Pininfarina Azzurra has been refinished in red with a tan
soft top and vinyl interior, and is powered by a fuel-injected
2.0-liter inline-four paired with a five-speed manual gearbox.
Additional equipment includes 14 inch Cromodora alloy wheels, an
aftermarket CD player, and power windows as well as modifications
such as Wilwood disc brakes, an aluminum radiator, and more.
Pininfarina continued production of the Fiat 124 Spider from 1982
to 1985, re branding it as the Azzurra. This example was repainted
in its original Rosso Red, and the resulting finish is said to have
been wet sanded and buffed. The replacement tan canvas convertible
top is shown both raised and lowered, and can be covered by a
matching vinyl boot when stowed. Cromodora alloy wheels wear Fiat
center caps and older 185/60-14 Michelin tires. A steel spare wheel
is housed in the trunk. A Wilwood disc brake kit with ventilated
rotors has been added in addition to a heavy-duty rear sway bar.
The cabin features tan vinyl seat upholstery as well as a matching
dash, center console, and door panels. Amenities include power
windows, adjustable headrests, a digital clock, and an aftermarket
CD player. A three-spoke, leather-wrapped steering wheel with a
Pininfarina horn button frames Veglia instrumentation including a
90-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The
six-digit odometer reads just over 40,510 miles. Dual air horns
have been added. The fuel-injected twin-cam 2.0L inline-four has
been modified with an aluminum radiator, an aftermarket cooling
fan, a gear-reduction starter, and a K&N air filter. The timing
belt, idler arm, and pulley are said to have been last changed in
2010. Service performed within the last 1,000 miles is said to have
included replacement of the distributor cap and rotor, spark plugs
and wires, ignition coil, and fuel filter. An oil change was
completed in spring 2020. Please contact Kennith Stewart for more
