This Comet convertible has a Ford 289 ci V8 engine with 2-barrel
carb and automatic 3 speed transmission. LaCarra leather wrapped
steering wheel and two-tone vinyl upholstery with matching door
panels. Rebuilt front end with alignment.
Comet offered the convertible in 1963 in both the Custom and S-22
Special lines, and both had power operated tops. The base and
Custom lines had four taillights and the Special had six. This
Comet Special features the 6 taillights.
The A/C system is non-op but can be repaired at time of purchase.
Fun to own with the top down.
