Vehicle Description
A 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle finished in a bold red and given a proper
big block under the hood is truly an ideal muscle car. So when you
can find one that has been upgraded for added power and stance, it
makes for a turn-key intimidation machine.
The '69 Chevelle makes the best impression that you want in a
muscle car with extra front overhang and the fastback profile. So
to have it updated in an aggressive red only amplifies the feeling.
The paint has a good gloss that lets this hardtop radiate nicely in
the sunshine. And the aggressive attractiveness continues with the
Super Sport upgrades. The blacked-out grille, dual power bulges in
the hood, SS badging, and blacked out rear panel are part of what
make this a legend. The rear fenders really gave these a hint of
those desirable Coke-bottle curves, and the full-length white sport
stripe shows it off with true Coca-Cola appeal. Plus, there's an
added attractiveness in the way the bright chrome bumpers go with
the upgraded 20-inch Ridler polished wheels.
The black interior with a deep dark appearance in the seats, door
panels, carpeting, and headliner is what you want in a muscle car.
It makes for a nice place to share with family and friends,
especially with the good room this coupe offers. There are some
great classic pieces here, too. The heater control still looks like
a factory A/C car (it will need components and servicing to return
the function.) And we bet you'll love showing your friends the
8-track AM/FM stereo in this 1960s classic. But what you'll love
the best is the driver-oriented feeling. There's a high-back bucket
seat, a center console w/iconic horseshoe shifter, dual-spoke SS
steering wheel on a tilt column, and cleanly installed auxiliary
readouts - including a large tach. It all makes for an environment
that gets you enthusiast heart pumping.
The engine bay is ready for primetime. The smooth black inner walls
funnel your attention to the bold big block motor. And the polished
components such as valve covers, air topper, pulleys, alternator,
and much more adds flair to the presentation. More than just
stylish, this is a 402 cubic inch V8 with right pieces for added
speed, such as a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Weiand intake, and
headers. There's even an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans
to help keep this full package running cool. It's this kind of
thoughtful setup that also creates a V8 that fires up easily and
drives nicely. The TH400 three-speed automatic transmission is both
stout and smooth as it feeds the 12-bolt rear end. Plus, power
steering, power brakes, front discs, and grippy modern sport tires
make this a solid all-around driver.
This is the awesome Chevelle hardtop with big block power and
aggressive attitude that you know you can't resist. Call now!
