Vehicle Description
Toyota trucks really have earned a long-standing reputation for
ruggedness. So it makes you take notice of this 1993 pickup with
its lifted stance and fuel-injected V6 power to enhance the 4x4
experience. Of course, it also helps that the investment in this
truck also includes a unique sleek appearance and plenty of engine
investments.
We were told there were value-added investments made to this truck
only about two years ago, and the exterior immediately shows it
off. The paint has the modern look of a smoked silver, and it's a
quality application with a nice metallic element and a clearcoat
shine. That upgrade in the paint lets the sunlight show off the
well-done sheetmetal. The darker tones of this color go well with
the black on the bumpers, grille, wheels, and even the background
for the upgraded headlights. But what we really love is the
attractive contrasting red on the pinstriping and badging. And
while this is a good-looking truck, it's also ready to get down to
business. The tall 4x4 stance and liner protecting the bed are part
of a versatile package.
Toyota really understood how to make a nice truck interior. This
single cab has a proper bench seat to sit three-across, but it also
has extra comfort from the cloth upholstery and large headrests.
The grippy dual-spoke steering wheel gives you a commanding view of
the gauges, and the stick shift rests right where you want your
hand to be. There are nice extras, like tinted windows, sliding
rear glass, provisions for air conditioning (will need servicing to
blow cold), and an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo with Bluetooth.
Under the hood is exactly what you want to see. After all, the
foundation for these trucks having such a robust reputation is in
the motor, but not everyone got the optional V6 power. This
fuel-injected 3.0-liter shows signs of good maintenance. In fact,
part of the work in this one included newer items like the heads,
gaskets, valves, valve seals/seats, fuel injectors, spark plugs,
timing belt, water pump, and hoses. It fires up readily, and the
five-speed manual transmission gives you proper control over it
all. The two-speed 4x4 transfer case is great for off-road work,
and the General Grabber tires have a deep tread. The suspension is
also up to the task with new front wheel bearings, pitman arm, rear
pinion seal, and diff fluid. It makes for a stronger driver in all
conditions. And so do the power steering and power brakes w/discs
up front.
We all love a beefy Toyota truck, and this one has the look and
investments you really want. So don't miss this deal. Call now!
